Testing Week 2! This week, we test the movements we’ll focus on for the upcoming cycle, so we have numbers to surpass and goals to shoot for at the end of the cycle. In the upcoming cycle, we’ll see more “short” metcons that allow us to focus on upping our intensity; but, we’ll continue to build our aerobic base via various methods such as cardiac output method (where we keep you moving at a low level for almost the whole hour), threshold method (medium-length, high-intensity WODs followed by rest then repeated), and explosive repeat method (cycles of work:rest weekly). We’ll have more info on the cycle next week.
