Strength Cycle: Cycle 4 – Week 3

In 15min:
Back Squat Rep Test – In the first 10min, build to a heavy, but pretty, single rep, then back off and choose a weight you believe you can hit for 8-15 reps (probably between 70-85%). The goal is here is accumulating squat volume. If you hit less than 8 reps last week, lower weight. If you hit between 8 and 15, repeat weight and beat score. If you beat 15 reps, up weight.

15 T2B
10 Deadlifts – L: 75/55; S: 115/75
5 Power Snatches
*Efficiency on the T2B is going to be CRUCIAL. Breaking up the DL and the Snatch may be necessary to give your forearms a break.

-then, from 9:00-15:00
1RM Clean and Jerk
*Don’t waste time. Go immediately to something heavy. You can probably only fit in about 3-to-5 *real* attemps in 6min.
