Strength Cycle: Post-Open Cycle 2 – Week 2

Every 90sec for 15min
L: 2; S: 1 Squat Clean and Split Jerk – L: a little less weight than last week; S: 75+% of Clean Complex
12-20 Single-Leg KB/DB RDL – split reps b/t legs
*Place the KB/DB in whichever hand allows you to best control the movement, but we’d prefer to see it in the hand opposite whichever foot is staying on the ground. Keep a soft bend in your knee, grip the KB/DB hard, keep your back straight, and push your hips back until the KB/DB is around shin level, then fire up.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1
Deadlift – L: 185/125; S: 245/165
2-DB Manmakers – L: 30/20; S: 50/35 (pushup, row, row, squat clean thruster = 1 rep)
*Cap = 16min. Alternate full numbers, so P1 does all of the 5s, then P2 does the 4s, etc… Your team completes 6 rounds total. Manmakers will be the worst part about this one.
