Overhead Squat & Snatch Tips

We’ve got Snatch work in today’s Strength work, and Coach Alexa is here with some tips for improving your Overhead position. ⠀

First, here’s a look at today’s Strength: ⠀
OTM for 10min⠀
2 L: Power Snatch; Spl/S: Squat Snatch @ 75%⠀

*Drop and reset. Weight should be light and comfortable with no missed lifts. If you do miss, brush it off and get ready for next set. Look to hit a rep every 5-8sec.⠀

Alexa has two drills you can perform before/after class to help make that barbell feel more comfortable overhead. Check out the video for details on how to knock these out:⠀
