Occupation?
I work as a pharmacy tech / billing rep for a pharmacy that services long term care / assisted living facilities.
Favorite movies, books, TV shows, etc?
Breaking Bad , The Office and Parks and Rec are my favorite TV shows. I don’t really have a favorite book, but I recently started reading Game Of Thrones.
When did you join DCCF?
August 2014
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting?
I’ve definitely gotten stronger. I was going to the gym on a daily basis with my list of exercises that some magazine told me I needed to do in order to get stronger arms or toned legs and I wasn’t seeing any results.
Running is also one of my least favorite things to do. I really wish I could go out and run 5 miles, but I can’t. When I first started, running was something I dreaded and it was more of a fast walk then a run. Now, I don’t dread it as much and it’s progressed to a jog.
Tell us about one of your goals for 2015.
Buying a new car is at the top of that list. I just wish someone else would do it for me, so I don’t have to think about.
Did you have any athletic role models when you were younger? If so, who and why?
I played sports, but really didn’t have any.
Give us some background on your history with sports?
I played basketball and volleyball, up until my freshman year of high school.
What are your hobbies, interests or talents outside of CrossFit?
Hiking and cycling
Favorite thing you’ve done or seen in 2015?
It’s a tie between watching the CATS go 38-1 and paying off my student loans.
Any upcoming trips you’re looking forward to taking?
I’m going to SC with my family this month.
