Shared “pain” is an important trigger for group formation. Completing a grueling workout with your classmates has the capacity to capture your attention and focus your awareness. When you have that experience together, your fellow sufferers assume a prominent place in your mind.

Pushing ourselves at the same task, at the same time, promotes bonding, solidarity, and, ultimately, cooperation. You could easily follow our workouts in your home gym, or at Planet Fitness, via your phone. But, Derby City is about so much more than just the workout as written. And camaraderie is one of the things that comes with training within the walls of this place.
